Screen Face Cam — Terms of Use

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Spikey Tech Inc. Your use of the App through the Mac App Store is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, policies, and rules.

Screen Face Cam is a macOS utility that displays a customizable live camera overlay on your screen. You can resize, reposition, and change the shape of the overlay. The App is intended for use alongside presentations, tutorials, content creation, and macOS screen recording workflows. The App requires camera permission to function. It does not record or transmit your camera video.

Subject to these Terms and your compliance with them, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Mac computers you own or control, solely for personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by applicable law.

Screen Face Cam offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions through the Mac App Store. In the United States, current subscription options include approximately $0.49 per month, $2.39 per six months, and $4.39 per year. Prices vary by country and are displayed in the App Store for your region at the time of purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Restore Purchases is available within the App for previously purchased subscriptions

Spikey Tech Inc. does not process payment card information. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

Users who do not subscribe may access the camera overlay for up to 5 minutes per overlay session. When the free session limit is reached, overlay access is restricted until you subscribe or start a new session as described in the App. Subscription removes session time limits.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or related systems
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or security features
• Use the App in a manner that infringes others' rights or privacy

The App, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Spikey Tech Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware, software, or macOS versions. You use the App at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spikey Tech Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (US $50), whichever is greater, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Spikey Tech Inc. only, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the App.

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
